America online Pulls Advertisements From Hurry Limbaughs Show

The Web content company stated on its Facebook page that “one in our core values is the fact that we act with integrity”– and behaved to protest Limbaugh’scharacterization lastweek of Georgetown College law student Sandra Fluke like a “slut” along with a “prostitute.” The influential radio host assaulted Fluke after she told a congressional hearing the government should require employer healthcare plans, including Georgetown’s, to pay for forcontraception.America online stated itdecided to”suspend advertising” on Limbaugh’s show because his “comments aren't consistent with our values.” Others which have backed from the broadcast includeCarbonite, Citrix, LegalZoom, ProFlowers, Quicken Financial loans, and bed mattress companies Sleep Train and Sleep Number. Limbaugh has apologized for his comments. He stated on today’s broadcast that his comments about Fluke were “inappropriate” and “uncalled for,” adding, “I don't even think she's either of individuals two words.” Together with his attacks, he stated,”I behaved too similar to the leftists who dislike me.” Obvious Funnel’s Premiere Systems syndicates Limbaugh’s show.
